Smashing good fun!
I try at all costs to avoid commercials on TV, but my son saw one for this toy and announced, 12/23, that Santa was going to bring it. We had visited Santa twice, and I told him that may not happen, because he hadn't asked Santa for it at either visit. Santa did, on 12/24, try to find it at a toy store, but the shelves were bare. No Christmas miracle, this year! But my son had received $20 for Christmas from a relative, so I let him learn about ordering online from Amazon. Even with my quick shipping for being a Prime member, and even with ALL the excess of Christmas in between, the wait for my 4 year old was torturous. I tried to warn him that TV very often makes things appear more fun than they are, and prepare him for dashed expectations. My warnings were wasted and there was no lesson in the downfalls of "As Seen On TV." He was THRILLED to have his own personal delivery, and sat down and played with this thing for 2 hours straight, napped, and went right back at it. This is a very...
gift for a 6 year old boy
He was thrilled! The tanker in awesome!!! Every little car loving boy should have one! I was told it was the favorite gift overall. :)
Hours of Fun!
Firstly, my son wanted a more expensive, but more cheaply made, track! I saw this online and convinced him to try it! We have had HOURS of fun flipping, smashing, and flying through screens!
The one thing I would caution parents, though, is that it requires a 1:64 size truck! I didn't know this was a smaller size than the ones he already had, so it has been a little more costly adding trucks. We use them as an incentive. He earns a quarter a day for doing small chores and helping us (he's only 4). So he can buy his own trucks about every 2 weeks!
